Let the Cookie Wars Begin!

The Key Players-well, at least half of them. The other team was 'unavoidable detained' at the last minute...Hmmm...sounds like someone was scared.
Sounds like someone's cookies might not be all they were said to be. Makes me happy though, since after the 'test batch' and then the 'competition batch' I've already had plenty of great cookies PLUS there will be more to look forward to in the near future. The gauntlet has been thrown-or maybe the cookies tossed? ouch, I know....
OK-so maybe Jeffrey wasn't an official part of the competition. "So why does he get all the looks?" my kids ask.
Well, look!

what are the cookie wars? I've got to get involved with this! I just got a recipe to try...it looks pretty intense...claims to be the best chocolate chip cookie ever. I'll let you know and I'm happy to share the recipe if it turns out to be true!

oh and the cookie wars...my friend lizzy and I met some kids at EFY who think they can make some good cookies so we challenged each other to a cook off...like my mom said, they must have been scared cause they backed out the morning of the competition...

i've been asked to ammend "some kids at EFY" to something more personal. Robert and Brandon are the two young men who thought they could beat us.

I would be happy to be in Jeffrey's position!! I am sure that all in the neighborhood, especially all the missionaries, are enjoying the aftermath... cookie wars, what a fun one!!

Jess, you rock!!!

I think maybe we should have some kind of family competition. Julie made a bunch for Brooke's baptism. You could mail cookies to each other. Could be fun. I'll be back mid August
