Here's another bag recipe; this one brought to us courtesy of Elder Gee and the Estrada's:
TACO SALAD
Above, you'll notice all the ingredients: single serving dorittos, taco meat, cheese, tomato, lettuce, avocado, sour cream, salsa, hot sauce, red beans. [Disregard the strawberries. Those are to serve on the side. Jeffrey thought they were supposed to go in his taco salad-gross! Dad-don't even think of trying it and telling me it tastes good.]

First, snip a small hole in the corner of the chip bag and mash the bag together to crush the chips. (My kids favorite part.)

Next, cut a slit across the long side of the bag.

Then fill with the ingredients of your choice (This is my favorite part-if you don't like the way it tastes, it's nobody's fault but your own!)

Stir it up and get to it!

My kids ate about 2 bags each. It was great and clean up is easy!

Have fun!

Hi Angie,
When my kids saw your Christmas card on the Doruis's door they asked why we didn't get one. I guess we better keep in contact a little more often. Love the dinner in a bag idea. I want to know how you get the church stuff on the side of your blog. I LOVED that talk from Elder Wirthlin. He and Pres. Faust(with his talk on forgiveness) left us with two great messages before passing on.
Hi Carolyn-Your Christmas card (like os many this year!) came back- I had the wrong address...but I can always resend it. The girls can email your address to Taylor and we'll get it out to you. It can be a St Patrick's day card-it's green anyway.
The side bar post was done by clicking 'layout'. Select 'add a gadget'. Scroll down to 'video bar'. Leave everything blank and unchecked except for the title and the channel. Create your own title then under channel write 'MormonMessages'. If you want the New Era side bar, type 'MormonNewEarMessages'. There are other ideas for posting and adding info on your blog on the lds.org site.
Elder Gee! He always has something amazing up his sleeve!
This looks like a great FHE activity! We'll have to try it:D
I want some! What a great idea for a Primary Party on a picnic or anything. Thanks for sharing
