HELP US!

Oh no! We have come to war. We must sail to the army but our enemy has 20 ships. Our team has 10 ships. We must sail to the army to add our 12 space ships but it’ll be Friday by the time our ships get to the crew but the war starts on Friday so that’s good. But their ships are well armed. even my torpedo cannon can’t defeat their shields.

We have 3 treasure ships.

2 are protected and our best weapon is Laser Man and we're bringing our base, too.

Our base has a wall, The Bat Of Bounty Hunters, The fire-Crystal water, Laser-Man with a shield, a super reflector, a repair ship, Book Of Destiny with the case of gold, and a giant dog that breaths fire.

But that's not enough to bring peace to the bounty hunters...

We Need your Help!!!

Today I want to remember....

  • coming home... and feeling like it was home, because it was where my family was
  • getting a package from my grown-up daughter and feeling like a kid when I saw the letter with my name on it
  • cleaning the kitchen with my other daughter and realizing she is well on her way to being an adult, too
  • eating cookies Brandon and Jeffrey made by themselves
  • having Taylor hold still long enough for a real hug
  • singing, “This is the night we’ve waited for” with kids that are singing it along with me even though they’ve probably grown out of it a long time ago, and wondering how long we can keep it up. Wondering if they’ll sing it with their own children.
A good day.

We Remember, Too

"The proud warriors of
Baker Company
wanted to do something to pay tribute

To our fallen comrades:
So since we are part of the only

Marine Infantry Battalion
left in Iraq, the one way that we could

Think of doing that is By
taking a picture of

Baker Company saying the way
we feel.

It would be awesome if you
could find a way to share

This with our fellow
countrymen.

I was wondering if there was
any way to
Get this into your
Papers to let the world know that

'WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN'
And are proud to serve our country.
'Semper Fi

1stSgt Dave Jobe.'"

For my very own

Grandma made a southern breakfast for the whole family and the missionaries. Delicious!
But then, just because, she made me a chocolate pudding. MY favorite!

Go Cougars!

I haven't seen a BYU football game in a LONG time. This weekend was an exception. Mark and I were on a date at a pizza place and the game was on. We caught the last quarter. It was so much fun! The best part was coming home and talking to Jessica-right in the thick of the celebrations at the Wilkinson Center. She said people were going nuts. I remember sitting in the end zone of cougar stadium back in 1990 at the BYU v #1 Miami game and rushing onto the field when BYU won the game. Now Jessica is having some of those types of memories of her own. Awesome!

Jeffrey's Geodes

Jeff has been able to show off his rock collection twice this school year; one at pack meeting and then again when his class started their new science unit. Unfortunately, there was never time in class to crack open his geodes. Lucky for me; we did it at home instead!

Subject: first day of class:
Hello my friends: You probably noticed that the University Photographers were in our classroom yesterday for the first day of class. They put a slide show together of campus yesterday that included many images from our time together. Check out the website here.

When you see your bright shiny face in the photos, share it with your mother. She probably still loves you.
Dr. Nelson
He's so smart! I do still love her! And it was so incredible to see her in that environment and picture all of the incredible things she will be doing. Just imagine what she has ahead of her! Right about now I'd like to give Dr. Nelson a great big thank-you hug.

Some people asked for a hint. Check the lower left side of the screen and think red. In a couple days, I'll post the picture.

UPDATE: here's the picture, just in case you missed it :)
